Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support to students in a K-8 school setting located in Cambridge, MA. This onsite contract position requires four days per week from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, designed to serve students across grades K-8 throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Experience working with K-8 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
