We are looking for a skilled Transmission Installer (R&R Tech) or General Automotive Technician to join our high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Accurately identify the cause of automotive performance issues and perform proactive maintenance to prevent future breakdowns.
- Transmission Specialist Tasks: Execute the removal and installation (R&R) of transmission systems. (Rebuilding experience is a major plus!)
- General Service: Perform standard automotive repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Communication: Clearly explain inspection findings and necessary repairs to Service Advisors and customers.
- Documentation: Professionally record all findings to ensure accurate customer estimates and service records.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with new technical information, tools, and industry techniques.
Position Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, specifically within the transmission industry.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Tools: Possession of professional-grade tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Certification: ASE Master Certification is preferred, but not required.
- Safety: Mastery of shop tools and a commitment to a safe working environment.
