THIS POSITION IS AN ONSITE POSITION
Job Summary:
The Web Developer is responsible for coding languages and protocol to compose, compile, and test software programs and web design.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with others to assess usability needs, requirements, and specifications for the requested program or application.
- Analyzes existing programs logic to identify causes of program malfunctions; modifies program logic to eliminate problems or increase the operational efficiency of the program.
- Designs and programs applications and software to meet identified needs.
- Performs diagnostic testing on programs to detect syntax or logic errors.
- Modifies, replaces, or removes code to resolve problems and errors.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in related areas of technology and programming.
- Complete all other responsibilities and assignments as required to successfully achieve the goals and objectives of this position.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of design, testing, and modification of programs and applications.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the coding and programming languages used within the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software.
Education/Experience:
- At least two years of related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
