Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our values- driven personal injury firm. The ideal candidate has experience with medical terminology, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Request, track, and obtain medical records and bills from providers</li>
<li>Review and organize records; identify missing documents</li>
<li>Summarize treatment and prepare medical/billing reports for attorneys</li>
<li>Maintain accurate logs and upload documents into the case management system</li>
<li>Communicate with clients, providers, and staff</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm or medical office</li>
<li>Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and follow-through</li>
<li>Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
