The selected candidate will work closely with attorneys and support staff while gaining hands-on experience in active legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a law student who is seeking meaningful, long-term employment with a clear path to attorney licensure and advancement.
Compensation:
$45,000+
Responsibilities:
- Draft and organize legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, discovery, and trial support
- Manage case files and deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Perform legal research and factual investigation as needed
- Provide general administrative and case management support
Qualifications:
- Current law student (J.D. candidate) in good standing
- Ability to work full-time during standard business hours (some flexibility with prior notice)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively
- Interest in long-term employment and growth with the firm
