Crane Service Technician II
Rowley, MA
$30–$37/hr (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Crane Service Technician II to join our growing team. This role involves servicing, installing, inspecting, and repairing overhead crane and hoist systems in industrial environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and confident working directly with customers.
What You’ll Do
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and hoists
- Perform OSHA-compliant inspections and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Work with 3-phase power systems, VFDs, motors, and controls
- Complete service reports, inspections, and documentation
- Maintain strong customer relationships and recommend solutions
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of crane/hoist service or industrial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, VFDs, and electrical controls
- Experience operating overhead cranes and scissor lifts
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50–100 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must have own basic hand tools and meter
Preferred
- Associate degree in Industrial Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or related field
- Experience performing OSHA inspections on cranes/hoists
