The Lead Maintenance Technician is a critical role responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of maintenance and repair activities. This position requires a highly skilled individual with comprehensive knowledge of Electrical Systems , HVAC , Plumbing , and Facility Repair and Maintenance . The Lead Maintenance Technician will lead a team, ensuring efficient operations, preventive maintenance, and timely resolution of maintenance issues, demonstrating strong Management and Communication skills. This role demands a proactive approach to Troubleshooting (Problem Solving) and a commitment to maintaining a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform maintenance and repairs on Electrical Systems, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.

  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Perform Plumbing repairs and maintenance, addressing leaks, clogs, and other plumbing-related issues.

  • Lead and participate in Facility Repair and Maintenance projects, including carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.

  • Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

  • Utilize ** Hand Tools** and Power Tool Operation effectively for various repair tasks.

  • Provide guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and skilled team.

  • Demonstrate strong Problem Solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.

  • Provide excellent Customer Service when interacting with residents or other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Electrical Systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical components.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Thorough knowledge of Plumbing systems, including pipe fitting, fixture repair, and drain cleaning.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Facility Repair and Maintenance practices, including carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.

  • Working knowledge of Machinery and equipment operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

  • Strong Troubleshooting (Problem Solving) skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.

  • Excellent ** Communication** skills, both written and verbal, in the English Language.

  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Swimming Pool Maintenance.

  • Experience with Construction projects.

  • Experience with Drywall (Installation And Repair).

  • Experience with Hydraulics.

  • Experience with Operations.

  • Computer Literacy.

  • Detail Oriented.
