Job Description
Seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition care in an acute care setting. This role requires a self-driven, independent clinician with strong experience in nutrition support, malnutrition identification, and patient assessment. The Dietitian will support both individual patients and occasional group education classes.
Job Title: Registered Dietitian
Location: Derry, NH
Shift: 5x8 Day Shifts
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay -$2300 to $2400/ week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, including NFPE (Nutrition Focused Physical Exam)
- Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support
- Identify and document malnutrition coding accurately
- Conduct calorie counts and ongoing nutrition monitoring
- Provide occasional group nutrition education classes (behavioral health and cardiac rehab)
- Document care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as needed
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Active New Hampshire Dietitian License
- Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Proficiency in NFPE and malnutrition coding
- Ability to work independently and confidently
- Preferred Qualifications
