Job Description
Overview
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A CAREER — NOT JUST A JOB?
Do you want to be part of a team that truly supports you, values your growth, and believes in the power of early childhood education?
We are growing, and we’re excited to welcome educators who believe in nature‑based learning, meaningful relationships, and seeing children as capable, curious learners.
WE ARE HIRING at Bambino University!
Our goal is to nurture children through connection, exploration, and responsive teaching.
Where children learn through mud, moss, movement, and meaningful connection.
What We Offer:
• Competitive pay ($16.72 - $20.61 per hour depending on qualifications)
• Hiring bonus upon full employment status
• Advancement with professional development
• Coaching & mentoring
• A collaborative, child‑centered environment where educators are supported and valued
•Paid time off
• Retirement plan
Staff Reset & Wellness Support
• At Bambino University, we believe educators deserve care too—we regularly build in staff reset time so our team can breathe, regroup, and return grounded.
• We intentionally take staff off the floor when needed to reset, regulate, and reconnect, because healthy educators create healthy classrooms.
• Our leadership team prioritizes wellness: when things feel overwhelming, we step in, support, and make space for staff to reset.
Support While Earning a Degree
• We proudly support educators who are working toward their degree—with flexible scheduling, mentorship, and hands‑on guidance every step of the way.
• Whether you’re starting your ECE coursework or finishing your degree, we offer coaching, professional development, and real support, not just lip service.
• We invest in your growth: our team includes educators earning degrees, and we actively help you succeed with paid professional development days, flexible hours, and ongoing mentoring.
Position: Teacher Assistant
Part‑Time with Potential for Full‑Time
What You’ll Do:
• Support nature‑based learning through outdoor exploration, sensory play, and inquiry.
• Foster relationship‑centered teaching with gentle, attuned interactions

• Maintain safe, welcoming spaces—indoors and out
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support each child’s growth
What We’re Looking For:
• ECE certification or willingness to work toward it
• Experience in childcare or childcare settings
• Strong classroom & behavior management skills
• A genuine love for working with young children
• First Aid/CPR
• Experience supporting children with disabilities
•Patience, kindness, and willingness to be part of a team
