Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to work onsite with a high school caseload during the Contract School Year (CSY) in Westfield, MA. The role focuses on providing specialized speech and language support to students, helping them achieve their communication goals in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments tailored to high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor student performance and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License is required
- Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-age students, particularly at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work independently
