Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Methuen MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 8 Hour Eve
Pay Rate: up to $3000 weekly + benefits from day 1!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The CT Tech performs high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols

Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining exams and positioning

Operate CT imaging equipment and related computer systems

Administer contrast media following safety guidelines and protocols

Monitor patients during exams and respond to adverse reactions

Ensure compliance with radiation safety and ALARA principles

Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission

Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly

Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR/PACS

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
Qualifications:
-
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required)

Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) (required)

ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required or must be obtained within [X] months)

Active state licensure, where applicable

BLS certification required

Minimum [1] year of CT experience preferred (new graduates with CT training considered)
Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of CT anatomy and imaging protocols

Proficiency with CT scanners, contrast administration, and PACS

Excellent patient care and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
