Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: Methuen MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 8 Hour Eve

Pay Rate: up to $3000 weekly + benefits from day 1!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The CT Tech performs high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols

  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining exams and positioning

  • Operate CT imaging equipment and related computer systems

  • Administer contrast media following safety guidelines and protocols

  • Monitor patients during exams and respond to adverse reactions

  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and ALARA principles

  • Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission

  • Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly

  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR/PACS

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required)

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) (required)

  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required or must be obtained within [X] months)

  • Active state licensure, where applicable

  • BLS certification required

  • Minimum [1] year of CT experience preferred (new graduates with CT training considered)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of CT anatomy and imaging protocols

  • Proficiency with CT scanners, contrast administration, and PACS

  • Excellent patient care and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Lift and position patients safely

  • Ability to wear protective equipment and comply with safety protocols
