Multiple openings are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels near Chester and Westminster, VT.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional or similar support role is preferred
• Familiarity with classroom procedures and an understanding of student-centered learning environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
• Ability to demonstrate patience, adaptability, and flexibility in various classroom scenarios
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or relevant certification a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in academic and social-emotional activities
• Assist teachers in implementing instructional strategies, classroom management, and individualized education plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and growth
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch breaks, and transitions in and out of the classroom
• Support students with special needs, as appropriate, according to established plans
• Contribute to classroom organization, material preparation, and maintaining a safe space for learning
