An opportunity is available for a paraprofessional to support preschool students in an elementary school setting. This part-time position offers 26 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM. The role is based in Hollis, NH, and is contracted for a full semester ending June 17, 2026, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities include supporting both general education and intensive needs preschool classrooms. The ideal candidate will have ABA training or relevant experience working with students with special education needs. Flexibility is essential, as classroom arrangements may change. This position requires working closely with students in the special education population, providing individualized assistance and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma required
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in a professional setting
- Experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Comfortable and experienced working with special education populations
- Must have reliable transportation
- District fingerprint clearance and successful completion of onboarding process
- Ability to provide one completed professional reference prior to placement
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
