Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Massachusetts school program is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide dedicated, 1:1 medical support for a high school student with significant physical and medical needs. This position includes care during transportation and throughout the school day.
Position Details:

Schedule: Full-time, in-person

Student: One high school student with severe disabilities
Medical & Support Needs:

G/J tube feeding and care
-
Suctioning as required
-
Seizure monitoring and emergency response
-
Wheelchair support and mobility assistance

Use of a Hoyer lift for safe transfers
Daily Schedule & Transportation:
-
Morning meet-up between 7:007:30 AM at the students home

Travel with the student to the school site

Provide nursing care throughout the school day

End-of-day departure approximately 2:303:00 PM

Extended days; candidates should be prepared for a longer daily schedule
Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts RN license required

Experience with medically complex students preferred

Ability to manage physical demands safely and professionally
