Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with recent EPIC experience and a VT or compact RN license for a high-acuity travel assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- No floating required for this position
- Schedule includes a minimum of every other weekend and flexibility to meet unit and patient care needs
- Holiday schedule flexibility is required
- Shifts may be scheduled across any day of the week (Monday through Sunday)
- Experience with EPIC within the past two years is required
- Bi-weekly staff orientations are held on Mondays
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Vehicles should have all season or snow tires from November through April
- No block scheduling allowed for any reason
- Holiday shift coverage is required as part of the assignment
- Candidates must be flexible and adaptable regarding shift scheduling

- Active VT or compact RN license, or willingness to obtain VT licensure promptly after offer
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, and NIHSS required
- TNCC certification or proof of course attendance with dates required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Previous travel assignment experience required (at least one travel contract)
- Charge nurse experience required
- Experience using EPIC EMR system within the last 2 years is mandatory
- Reliable personal transportation required, as public transportation is not available
