Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Janitor/Maintenance Technician for our client in Beverly, MA. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with excellent benefits and a stable, full-time schedule!

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Summary/Objective

The Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and basic maintenance of the manufacturing facility. This hands-on role supports the maintenance team in keeping machines running efficiently and the workspace safe and orderly.

Job Functions include:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance of facility and machinery
Dispose of scrap metal and industrial waste safely
Mix and dispense fresh coolant; monitor and maintain lubricant levels
Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissors lifts
Conduct basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and demolition work
Clean and sanitize common areas, shop floors, restrooms, and workstations
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Maintain a neat, safe, and organized facility environment
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times

The Ideal Candidate MUST have:

5+ years of janitorial or maintenance experience
Familiarity with HVAC, oil mist extractors, and shop machinery upkeep
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active duties
Skilled in basic arithmetic and capable of working with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written (English required)
Experience operating forklifts, floor machines, and other cleaning equipment
