Experience:
\n\n
• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
\n\n
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
\n\n
Requirements:
\n\n
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
\n\n
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
\n\n
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
\n\n
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Covenant Health.
\n\n

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:\nDegree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required
\n\n
Unit Details:\nPerforms cardiac ultrasound procedures independently for interpretation by cardiologists or radiologists.\nAssists cardiologists or other physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures.
\n\n
Shift & Scheduling:\n40 contract hours per week.\n1 week of on-call is scheduled approximately every 5th or 6th week.\nOne hospital holiday each year, rotating year to year.\nOn-call and holiday shifts may be switched with other echo techs with supervisor approval.\nMust be available to work every other weekend if requested by the department manager or supervisor.

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
\n\n
Certifications:
\n\n
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or the alternative certification RCS
\n\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
\n\n
