Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position working with patients from newborns to geriatrics and requiring an active NH or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department in a hospital setting
- Care for patients from newborns to geriatrics with no OB cases
- Three 12-hour night shifts per week are required
- No on-call responsibilities
- May float to affiliated hospital locations as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR; prior experience is preferred but not required
- Orientation is provided weekly
- Perm staff may return as travelers if there has been a 12-month break in service
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are considered local and eligible for local rates
- Responsibilities include providing emergency care to a diverse patient population outside of obstetrics

- Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Experience in emergency nursing required, willingness to learn and train in pediatrics if lacking prior peds experience
- Three professional references required, including two from leadership
- License verification through NURSYS with all active RN licenses
