Job DescriptionSchool Psychologist -Auburn, MA
Job Type: Full-time (On-site)
Setting: PK-Grade 1, Two Schools
Schedule: 10-month academic calendar (183 work days)
Responsibilities:

Provide health, psycho-educational, and counseling services to students, staff, and the school community.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.

Integrate assessment findings with educational and family information to develop actionable recommendations.

Deliver individual and group counseling addressing adjustment challenges, grief, behavioral issues, and social-emotional learning.

Support "at-risk" students through targeted interventions and social skills training.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop educational strategies and interventions.

Participate in committees such as Instructional Support Team, 504 Program Coordination, and CBM Data Team.

Provide crisis intervention and support for school-wide or individual emergencies, helping manage stress, grief, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.

Massachusetts School Psychologist certification required.

National Certification requires 60 semester credits beyond the baccalaureate degree.

Minimum of one year (1,200 hours) of supervised internship/practicum experience.

Doctoral degree or licensure as an Educational Psychologist/Psychologist preferred.

Ability to manage a student caseload of 50-60 (evaluations only).
