Behavior Technician

As a Behavior Technician at New Patterns ABA - CT, you will be an integral part of our team, providing compassionate and effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in the comfort of our clients' own homes and communities. Our innovative and flexible approach focuses on empowering individuals to reach their full potential, and we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavior Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement ABA treatment plans in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other interdisciplinary team members

Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, using evidence-based methods to promote learning, behavior change, and skill acquisition

Monitor and record client progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and behavioral data

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless integration of services and ongoing support

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) preferred

0 years of experience in ABA therapy or a related field

Ability to work part-time schedule, with flexible hours and occasional weekend shifts

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families

Passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
