Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and provide regular updates to families and staff
