Ambler Design is a well-established landscape construction company based in Stowe, VT, specializing in high-end outdoor spaces such as patios, retaining walls, and stonework. We are looking for dedicated Landscape Construction Crew members to join our 4 specialized crews. The role involves working on residential patios and walls with local travel and opportunities for both seasonal and year-round positions within small crews of 2-4 people.
Responsibilities
- Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features
- Work with materials including Pennsylvania Bluestone, Granite, Pavers, and Boulders
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and base work
- Support tree planting and garden preparation tasks
- Operate tools and equipment, with training provided if needed
- Collaborate closely with team members on high-end residential landscape projects
- Maintain safety awareness and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hardscaping or related fields, more experience is a big plus!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience or knowledge in masonry and equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor, hands-on work
- Reliable, team-oriented attitude with attention to detail
- Effective time management skills and safety-conscious approach
