Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to our youngest patients.
\n
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
\n
Required Experience: You must have 3+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility, with NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience required. Familiarity with lung protective ventilation and participation on the Code Blue team is essential. You should be able to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results.
\n
Required Certifications: RRT certification, NRP, MA Respiratory Care license, and BLS are mandatory. NPS and/or ACCS certifications are preferred.
