We are an established General Contractor based in North Attleboro, MA delivering high-quality tenant improvement throughout New England. Our team is known for strong field coordination, organized project delivery, and long-term client relationships.
The Role
The Project Manager will oversee various construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. This role works closely with superintendents, subcontractors, and ownership to keep projects moving efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish and manage the project schedule utilizing Procore. Schedule to include dates and times for Owner/Client decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication and field installation, etc. Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
· Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
· Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders
· Develop, update, and monitor project schedules
· Lead project meetings and communicate with owners, architects, and consultants both on site and remotely via Microsoft Teams, and generate meeting minutes.
· Utilize Procore for document control, RFIs, submittals, and project tracking
· Meet with Architect to ensure all drawings and specifications are examined for design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations prior to the start of the project
· Coordinate punch lists, warranties, record drawings, and final project closeout
· Confirm prescribed safety and quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals involved in the project, with a specific focus on the Owner/Client and Architect relationships
· Manage project closeout documentation and turnover
Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Commercial/Retail Construction
· Tenant improvement and renovation experience
· Retail construction experience
· Healthcare construction experience
· Ground-up commercial construction experience
· Experience with reading and understanding plans, assist and pricing projects and procuring pricing material suppliers and subcontractors.
· Proficient with general contract and general conditions, subcontractor documents, drawings and specifications, scopes of work and project schedule; read, understand, and interpret.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other industry related applications.
· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
· Strong understanding of construction means and methods
· Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
· Ability to work the hours required to support project needs.
