Title: New England Managing Attorney

Salary: $200k-$250k/yr base

Location: Boston, MA (hybrid)

Required experience: 10+ years of Asbestos/Toxic Torts defense litigation, product liability litigation, some managing experience is preferred.

Position Overview
The Managing Attorney will oversee the legal operations of the Boston firm, managing a team of attorneys and ensuring effective representation of clients in litigation cases. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in asbestos and toxic torts litigation, as well as a strong background in civil litigation and product liability defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality legal representation.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies for complex cases involving asbestos, toxic torts, and product liability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and staff.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, trials, and depositions.
  • Review and analyze case files, draft legal documents, and prepare for trial.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and legal advice.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting practice areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive legal support.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on asbestos, toxic torts, and product liability.
  • Proven track record of managing a legal team and handling complex cases.
  • Strong trial experience with a history of successful outcomes in court.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
