Location: Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree, Braintree, MA, US
Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Compensation:
$65,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
- Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
- Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads
- Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
- Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software, preferred
- Certification in HVAC, electrical systems, or other relevant technical areas is advantageous.
