Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.

  • Providing consultations for pre-crisis and crisis planning, as well as developing positive behavior support and medication treatment plans.
  • \n

  • Completing all required clinical documentation with timeliness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • \n

  • Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to accurately assess the mental health needs of your clients.
  • \n

  • Collaboratively engaging with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective behavioral guidelines and support strategies.
  • \n

  • Actively participating in all licensing and accreditation processes to ensure continuous compliance and quality improvement.
  • \n

  • Serving as a liaison with relevant state agencies, community partners, and service systems, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • \n

  • Building and maintaining productive relationships within the community to promote our programs and secure new partnerships.
  • \n

  • Engaging in continued professional development through conferences, training, and representing the agency at relevant state meetings and committees.

  • Advocating for and integrating the agency's mission, values, and philosophy into your daily practice.

  • Completing other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Beverly Wellness Care, you will work with a varied client population, including individuals experiencing emotional health issues, substance use recovery needs, and challenges linked to developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Your ability to connect with clients and establish trusting therapeutic relationships will be instrumental in guiding them toward recovery and successful community integration.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in the mental health field from an accredited institution.

  • An independent LMHC license recognized in the state of Massachusetts.
