Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days, Evenings & Nights
Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM OR 11:00 PM–7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend/Holiday
Local Candidates: No
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate:
Local: N/A
Traveler: $44–$48/hr, as per experience

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN/LVN license as required by state regulations

• BLS/ACLS certification

• Required nursing education and credentials for LPN/LVN practice

• Experience providing direct nursing care, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing

• Ability to supervise and direct nursing assistants

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards

• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care according to established care plans and facility standards

• Supervise and oversee nursing assistants

• Ensure residents receive quality and safe care

• Monitor residents and report changes to appropriate healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being

• Support the nursing team in maintaining consistent standards of care
