Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll have the chance to impact middle or high school students in dedicated classrooms focused on developing essential life skills, working 37.5 hours per week.

We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact and have experience in special education environments. Two classroom settings are available: one serving grades 6–8, and another for grades 9–12. If you have a preference for working with middle school or high school students, please indicate your interest.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience with Life Skills curriculum or self-contained special education classrooms
• Ability to manage and adapt to diverse student needs and learning styles
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Organizational skills to maintain effective student documentation
• Willingness to commit to a full school-year contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying needs
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that fosters social, academic, and life skills growth
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and school staff to ensure student needs are met
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required
