Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager for 2nd and 3rd grade during the upcoming school year (August 25 – June 14). This contract position, located near Goffstown, NH, offers the chance to help students reach their full potential while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid NH Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working as a case manager for elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Familiarity with NHSEIS and special education regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze evaluation and progress data to inform instruction
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to 2nd and 3rd grade students in alignment with IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs using evaluation and progress data
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all compliance requirements are met through NHSEIS
- Monitor student progress, delivering targeted accommodations and interventions
- Supervise and support instructional staff
- Collaborate consistently with families, classroom teachers, therapists, counselors, and community agencies
- Implement procedural safeguards, school district policies, and assigned building-level duties as directed by administration
This role encompasses a rewarding blend of hands-on instruction, case management, and cross-disciplinary teamwork, with contracted hours from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
