Key Responsibilities\n
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sacred Heart, you will:

- Conduct in-depth assessments of couples and families to determine therapeutic needs.
- Facilitate therapy sessions that include joint and individual meetings with clients.
- Develop tailored treatment plans targeting issues such as: Alcohol Abuse, Family Conflicts, Grief and Loss, and Separation/Divorce Adjustments.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
- Monitor client progress over time and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with other clinicians and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Your primary focus will be on diverse populations including couples, families, adults, and adolescents. You will address a range of complex issues, such as: conflicts among family members, adjustment to blended families, medical concerns, and communication difficulties. Your work will directly contribute to improving the mental health and well-being of clients within the Springfield, Massachusetts area, and beyond, thanks to our remote service capabilities.
Qualifications\n
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

- A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification.
- An active state license to practice in Massachusetts.
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
