Job Description
The Physical Therapist role performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans, and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. Provides all aspects of care based on standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Call Requirements: NA
Float Requirements: both inpatient/outpatient settings
Requirements:
2YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty
2YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting
2YRS+ with prior experience working in outpatient/inpatient Physical Therapy (Preferred)
ACTIVE BLS (AHA)
NH PT license
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Preferred Skilllset/Exp: Outpatient PT experience, EPIC EMR experience
Scrub Color: NA – can wear any color scrubs if you would like. All OP PTs dress professional. Must wear closed-toe and closed-side shoes.
