A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow SLP (CF-SLP) to work onsite, offering support to students, collaborating with educators, and guiding them toward stronger communication skills throughout the academic year.
Primary Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or certification in Massachusetts, or eligibility for CF-SLP status
- Solid background in school-based settings, with prior experience serving school-aged children preferred
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing effective IEP goals
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with teachers, special education personnel, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities and communication skills
- Readiness for a full-time, in-person role and ability to pass a CORI background screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across assigned classrooms
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities, completing detailed assessments and documentation
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to tailor interventions and support each student’s needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to team-based educational planning
- Communicate progress and strategies with families and caregivers
