What You’ll Do:

· Shape the user experience and visual storytelling by selecting, cropping, editing and optimizing photos, graphics, and other content

· Establish and maintain a clean, consistent design that is professional, engaging, and aligned with CAMERA’s mission.

· Manage and troubleshoot our website and work directly with outside vendors and developers on larger projects, system improvements, and fixes.

· Serve on CAMERA’s internal project management team overseeing the selection of a new website vendor.

· Work closely with that vendor on the design and implementation of a unified CAMERA website, integrating multiple existing sites into a single, streamlined platform.

· Collaborate with CAMERA’s IT Manager on website hosting, security, and system updates.

· Coordinate with CAMERA IT and vendors to troubleshoot and implement upgrades and integrations in accordance with best practices. Actively maintain alpha, beta and production branches of the CAMERA website.

· Ensure all web tools and data handling follow CAMERA’s cybersecurity and privacy standards.

· Monitor site speed, SEO, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, views and engagements, providing insights and reports on performance and usage.

· Ensure donation pages, newsletter sign-ups, and event registrations work smoothly and effectively.

· Collaborate with CAMERA’s program managers and departments to support initiatives and campaigns and highlight CAMERA’s work and impact.

· Monitor and manage functionality and brand consistency.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage the website for process improvements

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience managing websites through a CMS. Familiarity with hybrid CMS platforms, WordPress, Drupal or a headless CMS environment like Contentful, Contentstack, and Storyblok is a plus.

· A strong eye for design and digital storytelling.

· Skill in editing and optimizing photos and graphics for web.

· Basic technical troubleshooting skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, TypeScript and Gutenburg familiarity a plus).

· Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and accessibility standards.

· Experience working with outside vendors, contractors, or developers.

· Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams.

· Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and best practices for secure website management.

· A passion for CAMERA’s missions, including promoting accurate and balanced media reporting on Israel and the Middle East, and exposing and fighting against anti-Israel and anti-Jewish biases, falsehoods, and narratives in traditional media, on digital platforms, and in K-12 and higher education.

Location: Greater Boston area. This is primarily an in-office position, with an expectation of working from CAMERA’s Newton office three days per week.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. The salary will be based on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
