We’re partnering with a school district in Suffolk County, Massachusetts to hire a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist.
This full-time, in-person role supports students’ functional, sensory, and motor development, helping them succeed academically and socially. You’ll work directly with students, providing individualized therapy, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting students’ participation in the school environment.
Position Details:
Location: In-person, Suffolk County, MA
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Schedule: Full-time
School Year: January 2026 – June 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans
- Support students’ sensory, motor, and functional development
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Background supporting students with functional, sensory, or motor needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
