Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: NP Hospitalist

Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. This role requires in-person presence within the unit or hospital throughout the shift.

Purpose of Coverage: To address the daytime staffing requirements for hospitalist advanced practice providers (APP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care exclusively to adult inpatients and those under observation.
• Manage 100% in-hospital admissions.
• Deliver observation and inpatient care, including intermediate levels of care.
• Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate their transfer to tertiary care facilities when necessary.
• Utilize Cerner Community Works and AI scribe support for efficient documentation.

Work Environment:

This position is situated in a small community hospital characterized by a friendly and supportive nursing staff. You will enjoy a collaborative working relationship with the emergency department team and surgeons, along with a robust overnight hospitalist physician team.
