Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role is ideal for an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist with a strong background in imaging and cath lab procedures. The position focuses on delivering exceptional patient and family-centered care while collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless continuity of care. Professional interaction with patients, families, and hospital staff is essential to meet and exceed customer needs.
Location: Lowell, MA
Schedule:
- Choose between (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage possible, though no scheduled weekend or holiday shifts are required during the contract
- In a 13-week contract, expect 1-3 weeknight shifts and potentially 1 weekend call shift
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures with precise imaging and technical expertise
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain cath lab equipment and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families throughout procedures
- Promote a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- At least 1 year of traveler experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Current ARRT certification with RCIS required
- Strong skills in cardiac imaging and catheterization lab techniques
