Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring accurate documentation from onset through treatment completion.
- Develop and implement customized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.
- Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques relevant to diverse therapeutic models.
- Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses—to formulate cohesive intervention strategies.
- Manage client referrals and ensure continuity of care for clients requiring additional services or inpatient treatment.
- Recognize and address barriers to recovery, providing guidance to clients and their families to navigate mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Your role will primarily involve working with clients confronting a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological conditions. Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
- A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- Proven experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse client cases with sensitivity and efficacy.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems such as AVATAR to streamline administrative tasks and enhance patient care.
