Job Summary (List Format):
\n - Experience & References:
\n - 5 years current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) experience required – NON-NEGOTIABLE
\n - 2 recent supervisory signed references required – NON-NEGOTIABLE
\n - References must be called and verified by agency employer
\n - Skills & Duties:
\n - Must be proficient in the following specialties/procedures: General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro (head and spine), Trauma
\n - Preferred experience: C-sections, ENT, Plastics, DaVinci Robot
\n - Must be able to precept (teach/mentor others)
\n - Must take call; block scheduling and shift accommodation requests are NOT available
\n - Must be willing and able to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s – specified blocks)
\n - Must be able to scrub (RN scrubbing skills preferred)
\n - Must have Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
\n - Certifications:
\n - BLS (AHA)
\n - NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted)
\n - Additional Requirements:
\n - Must have own vehicle – FIRM requirement
\n - Traveler must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (“Local” travelers will NOT be considered)
\n - Dress code: Facility-provided scrubs
\n - 8-hour non-billable orientation
\n - Unit size: 8 beds
\n - All requested time off (RTO) and scheduling requests must be included at time of profile submission; no requests accepted after offer
\n - Submission/Profile Requirements:
\n - Detailed work history
\n - Skills checklist (current to within 1 year)
\n - 2 supervisory reference letters (from within last 2 years)
\n - Relevant licenses/certifications uploaded with profile
\n - Permanent address included in profile
