Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized educational support as a Case Manager for students with special needs in a K-9 setting. This full-time contract role involves managing a caseload of approximately 12-14 students, focusing on small group instruction in reading, writing, and math.
Location:
- Kingston, NH
- Seacoast Charter Academy, serving K-9th grades
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Facilitate small group sessions targeting reading, writing, and math skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to caseload management
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience with K-9 students in a special education setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Competency in assessment and progress monitoring
