Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans that meet individual needs.

  • Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

  • Respond to clients in crisis, offering immediate support and intervention strategies to address acute mental health emergencies and stabilize situations.
  • \n

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment updates, progress notes, and assessments, while adhering to ethical codes and legal regulations.
  • \n

  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  • \n

  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their rights and needs as necessary.
  • \n

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Our client base also includes families and couples seeking to improve their communication and strengthen their relationships. You will have the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approach depending on the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

  • Eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Massachusetts (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).

  • Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, demonstrated through experience and training.
  • \n

  • A minimum of two years of relevant practice experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
