Who we need:
We are seeking a professional, dependable, and personable Overnight Concierge to join our team at a historic condominium building in Boston’s iconic Back Bay neighborhood—just a short walk from Copley Station. What you'll do:
- Monitor building activity and control access to residential and other common areas.
- Preannounce and document electronically all visitors before allowing access beyond the lobby
- Enforce building policies and house rules to promote a safe and respectful environment.
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, and delivery personnel professionally and courteously.
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and service requests; accurately document all events.
- Coordinate package management, including logging, storing, and notifying residents of deliveries (including perishables).
- Oversee move-ins, move-outs, and large deliveries via the building’s loading dock.
- Be familiar with all key building mechanical areas, locations, and shut offs.
- Communicate effectively with the building manager and facilities director regarding any issues or resident concerns.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions by relaying essential information to the next shift.
- Support a team-oriented atmosphere and uphold a consistent standard of service.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior concierge, hospitality, or front desk experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong judgment, dependability, and professionalism are essential
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in service and hospitality.
- Take pride in their appearance, their service role, and their commitment to services excellence.
