• Faculty appointment at UMASS Chan or Tufts University School of Medicine (Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience)

Leadership Opportunities\n

• Associate Program Director, Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship

\n

• Director, Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) Program

Responsibilities\n

• Perform a full range of interventional pulmonary procedures, including:

- Advanced bronchoscopy (navigation, robotic, EBUS-TBNA) - Pleural disease management - BLVR with FDA-approved technologies \n

• Lead and expand the BLVR program (patient selection, multidisciplinary coordination, outcomes tracking)

\n

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative pulmonary practice

Educational Leadership\n

• Serve as Associate Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship

\n

• Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students

\n

• Contribute to curriculum development, simulation training, and scholarly activities

\n

• Promote an inclusive and intellectually stimulating training environment

Academic & Research Engagement\n

• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in interventional pulmonary and BLVR

\n

• Present at national meetings and contribute to publications

\n

• Engage in educational symposia and scholarly work

Candidate Requirements\n

• MD or DO degree with completion of an AABIP-accredited Interventional Pulmonology fellowship

\n

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine

\n

• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts

\n

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical care

\n

• Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred

\n

• Experience with BLVR strongly preferred; interest in program development required

\n
