Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Legal Operations Manager/E-billing – Paralegal to support a legal operations initiative in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position will focus on strengthening electronic billing processes, coordinating legal administrative activities, and helping ensure efficient use of billing and matter management tools. The ideal candidate brings strong paralegal knowledge, hands-on experience with legal technology platforms, and the ability to work effectively across legal and operational teams.

Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day support for an electronic billing initiative and help drive consistent execution across legal operations workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to test, refine, and implement billing tool processes that improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Manage legal billing activities by reviewing submissions, addressing discrepancies, and supporting timely resolution of invoice-related issues.
• Utilize corporate legal management and billing software to maintain organized matter, contract, and financial records.
• Coordinate calendar and docket-related activities to support deadlines, legal filings, and broader administrative needs.
• Provide paralegal support in areas such as contract administration and probate-related documentation when required.
• Prepare reports, track project progress, and communicate status updates to legal and business partners.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within e-billing operations and recommend practical solutions to enhance performance.• Experience working with electronic billing platforms and legal billing software in a corporate legal or law firm environment.
• Background using a Corporate Legal Management System to support legal operations, matter tracking, or invoice management.
• Paralegal experience with knowledge of legal documentation, contract administration, and operational support practices.
• Ability to manage calendars and docket-related activities with strong attention to deadlines and detail.
• Familiarity with probate law and related administrative or documentation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate workflows and resolve billing issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and priorities.
