We’re a local technology company adding a Laser Fabrication Specialist who thrives on translating drawings into flawless metal parts.
In this role, you will
- Run laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components to exact specs.
- Set up and fine-tune process parameters—speed, power, focal length—before and during production.
- Track performance while the machine runs and make real-time adjustments to sustain quality and efficiency.
- Verify part accuracy using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Perform finishing and light assembly using hand tools and appropriate tooling.
What sets you up for success
- Laser background with proven machine operation skills.
- Ability to specialize in laser marking, laser welding, and laser cutting.
- Strong small-hand dexterity is a plus.
Schedule & compensation
- 1st shift: 8am–5pm. Temporary for a couple weeks.
- Pay between $18
