Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to gain a deep understanding of their unique challenges and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide individual therapy using a variety of proven modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.

  • Work closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals, regularly evaluating their progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Offer teletherapy services to clients who may face accessibility challenges, ensuring that mental health support is readily available to those who need it.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring that all records reflect our commitment to professionalism and client confidentiality.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and training programs to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will provide support to a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Many of our clients come to us seeking strategies to overcome significant life challenges, and as a vital part of their support system, you will assist them in navigating their paths to recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid and current mental health license in Massachusetts, such as Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • \n

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field; or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish a safe, trusting environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions.

  • Empathy and compassion, alongside a non-judgmental approach that respects the diverse experiences of clients.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, allowing for efficient case management and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience working in a community health or clinical setting is desirable, particularly with clients addressing similar mental health issues.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms is a plus to facilitate seamless documentation and client interactions.
