Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for a certified Surgical Technologist with expertise in orthopedic procedures, including total joint replacements and advanced technologies like the MAKO Robot. This contract position is based in a well-equipped surgical center located in Portsmouth, NH, offering a focused and rewarding environment in orthopedic surgery.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
  • Advanced skills in total joint replacements, MAKO Robot-assisted joint replacements, sports medicine procedures, and surgeries involving hands and feet.
  • Experience in general orthopedic surgery procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a surgical team setting with state-of-the-art equipment.

Location:Situated in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, this surgical center boasts three fully equipped operating rooms, including advanced surgical technology like the MAKO Robot. The center is part of a modern facility that supports excellent patient care and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for orthopedic procedures.
  • Assist the surgical team during operations, adhering to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Manage and operate surgical instruments and advanced robotic equipment.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure efficient and positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain documentation related to surgical procedures using the centers paper-based system.
  • Comply with hospital policies, including dress code standards (scrubs provided).

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday
  • Shift hours: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
