Physical Therapist (PT) – PRN

$55–$60/hour | PRN
Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist at Bedford Hills Center. Bring your clinical perspective to a skilled nursing rehabilitation team, helping residents improve mobility through treatment grounded in their health needs, previous abilities, and personal recovery goals.
What You'll Do

Evaluate residents' strength, balance, range of motion, and ability to manage everyday movement.

Develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals for walking, transfers, and functional independence.

Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and mobility interventions suited to each resident's condition.

Assess assistive device needs and educate residents and caregivers on safe movement strategies.

Reassess function, adjust treatment approaches, and supervise PTA services.

Maintain timely clinical documentation and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues on care recommendations and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire Physical Therapist license.

Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical reasoning skills.

Clear communication and accurate documentation.

Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
