Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time teaching opportunity supports students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing within a K-12 school setting in Merrimack, NH. The position runs from ASAP through June 19, 2026, during the school year. The role involves working onsite 18 hours per week, serving a caseload of students across all grade levels in multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Utilize communication strategies and educational techniques suited for diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers to enhance student learning experiences
  • Monitor and report on student progress throughout the academic year

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Teaching License
  • Valid and current certification/license in Deaf or Hard of Hearing education
  • Commitment to an onsite schedule, as remote work is not available
  • Experience working with K-12 students with hearing loss preferred
