A full-time Registered Nurse with school nursing experience is needed for a K-12 school setting in Derry, NH. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 2026 and follows the school calendar year schedule (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM). The role primarily involves providing individual nursing care for a middle school student with complex medical needs, though flexibility to support other grades as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual nursing services to a student requiring critical care skills
- Provide care during transport by riding the bus to and from the students home in the mornings and afternoons
- Adapt to varied caseloads across middle and other school grade levels as necessary
- Collaborate with school staff to meet the healthcare needs of the student
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate relevant health information
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with experience in school nursing
- Proficiency in critical care nursing skills
- Ability to manage complex medical needs in a student population
- Flexibility and reliability to accommodate school schedules and transportation duties
- Strong communication skills for coordination with educational and healthcare teams
